Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceIt was December 2014 that Les Domaines Paul Mas took over Domaine du Silène des Peyrals and its 57 hectares of vines. Esprit de Selene is a new blend from this historical property, located along the Joncastre stream, in the municipality of Saint-Pons-de-Mauchiens. It sits adjacent to the vineyard of Château Paul Mas, Abbey Valmagne and Domain Peyre Rose. The blend is a typical mix of grenache blanc, marsanne and vermentino, offering up a stony mineral floral mix of fruit aromas and flavours with a touch of heat and nutty bitterness in the finish.
