Flor de Crasto Douro Vinho Tinto 2014

Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalFlor de Crasto is a youthful, fresh and juicy red that captures the schistous soils of the Douro Valley. This is 10-14 year old grapes, destemmed, fermented and aged in stainless. Tight and grippy, with subtle cassis, thorns and scrubby florals on the tight, taut frame. Tannins are gritty and acidity is bright, all befitting the 13.5 percent alcohol. Ready to drink now with lamb or beef kabobs.Tasted: 06 February 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
