Água Viva Espumante Bruto 2013

Bairrada, Northern Portugal, PortugalToast, red apple, and a cut of riffing, sea salt acidity in this blend of 30-60 year old maria gomes, bical, cercial, and chardonnay sourced from the limestone and clay soils of Bairrada. This lively fizz spent 36 months on lees in barrel before being disgorged November 2016. The lovely mid palate is cushioned with green apple and just enough toasted texture before a refreshing 11 percent alcohol finish Tastes of where it's from, and I'm already looking forward to tracking this along future releases.Tasted: 01 May 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
