JoieFarm Muscat The Pure Grape (v) 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaJoieFarm's Muscat is pretty much dry, and by that I mean it's blessedly leagues apart from most muscats you find on the shelves, though it still has a little bump of residual sugar (nearly 5 g/l), which is intrinsic to this little grape. The 2016 has tightened up again, with lime leaf acidity lifting perfumed rose petals, orange blossoms, fleshy peach and ripe melon colouring a watery mid-palate. A little snap of salted anise and citrus acidity brightens the finish, closing out this light bodied wine at 10.8 percent alcohol.Tasted: 02 May 2017Tasted by: Prices:
