Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the cellar. Pouring a brownish hue, this very smoky, very silky pinot noir is from the Similkameen Valley. Bright, lifted acidity carries black cherry, forest berries, moss along a fuller, smooth palate. Tannins are whisper fine and the length is lingering on the spicy finish. If this had less smoky oak it would be a star; as is, the smokiness detracts from the whole.
