We've the warmth of Spanish summers, capable of the brisk acidity the grape benefits from, and able to achieve the long hang time that Albariño benefits from. Plus, we're young and experimental enough to try. Pear, melon, white peach, anise, and gentle peach fuzz spicing in this fluid and streamlined example. Partial barrel fermented (500L French puncheons) and no MLF has keep this bright, while six weeks battonage gives just a slip of cushion to the palate.
