Abbott's & Delaunay Merlot Les Fruits Sauvages 2015

Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceDark plum, wild blackberry and finely sticky tannins in this drinkable, finessed Vin de Pays d'Oc merlot. Grapes come from four different areas in the region, was partially carbonic ferment and aged in a mix of stainless and oak for 6-9 months. Ripe, soft black fruit mingle on the lightly smoked and plush palate, drinking easy now, as was intended. Excellent value for an interesting, affordable and likeable young French merlot.Tasted: 14 June 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
