Abbott's and Delaunay Cabernet Sauvignon Les Fruits Sauvages 2015

Languedoc, Sud de France, FrancePerfumed and sweet plum, wild blackberry, thorns and dusky spicing fill this easy and accessible cabernet sauvignon, drawn from two distinctly different terroirs in Languedoc. Ten percent of the cuvee is aged in oak for the slight framing tannins, while the rest rests briefly in stainless to keep the bright, sun-kissed fruit. Lightly grippy black cherry, black raspberry, soft on the palate, with sticky dried black fruit to frame before a warming, cinnamon finish. For drinking now, thankfully with some varietal recognition and interest.Tasted: 21 June 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
