Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc Reserve Three Mile Creek 2016

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe ‘Reserve’ HB sauvignon is defined by oak. In this case 60 percent of the Three Mill Creek Vineyard fruit was fermented in 60 percent new French oak puncheons and then aged in the wood for four months. Lime rind and passion fruit fill the palate with some scruffy, woolly elements in the back end. This will need a bit of time to settle into itself but if you like the style and are patient this should deliver sometime next spring. If you open this now, try it with veal piccata or a simply roasted chicken.Tasted: 10 July 2016Tasted by: Prices:
