Kit’s Coty Blanc de Blancs 2013

EnglandKit's Coty are the new single-vineyard, super-premium wines released from Chapel Down, one of the UK's largest wineries. These have reached a new level, with the sister wine to this, the Couer de Cuvée priced at £100. The Kit’s Coty vineyard is 38 hectares of chalky soils in the North Downs of Kent. Lemon pith, orange pith and tight grippy chalk texture on this blanc de blancs. Full MLF, twenty percent of the wine is matured in barrel before resting on the lees for three years. Red apple, yellow apple, broken stones on an expansive middle. This is dense and weighted, with a finessed acidity to carry. 9 g/l dosage.Tasted: 06 June 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
