Road 13 Honest John's White 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHonest John's is an aromatic white blend of chardonnay, pinot gris, kerner, chenin blanc, viognier and orange muscat, all from winery-owned vineyards in BC. Whole-bunch pressed, this was fermented in stainless where it briefly aged before being bottled in December 2016. Youthful and shiny, this is a medium-bodied white with gentle perfumed pear, white peach, gooseberry apricot fuzz and a squeeze of lime. A good bump of residual sugar lines the palate and enhances the muscat, viognier and kerner in the blend, right to the brief, clean finish.
