Tantalus Juveniles Chardonnay 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe vines are only four years old, hence the ‘Juveniles’ moniker, but this wine suggests a bright future for this single-vineyard, estate chardonnay. It was all handpicked and vinified in small lots and it was wild fermented in a combo of stainless steel and neutral barrels. The attack is fresh with a good mix of texture and flavours mostly bright lemon mixed with spice and a stony mineral aftertaste. It’s the juicy character that invites at the moment and we love the screwcap. The price is crazy good. Back up the truck.Tasted: 01 August 2017Tasted by: Prices:
