Tantalus Pinot Noir 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDusky plum, black raspberry, cherry plumps out this fine-grained and sweetly sunned pinot noir. Dark forest berries, moss and earthy notes fill the voluminous palate, one that is kept tidy with finely gritty, cedar-seasoned tannins and fresh acidity. This was small-batch picked, fermented wild, and into new and older French oak for 11 months before final blending and bottling. There is impressive structure and styling here and it's wearing time well. If you need to open it now try it with wild mushrooms or planked salmon.Tasted: 11 July 2017Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:
