Lang Vineyards Maréchal Foch 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the blackest foch I have ever seen and the signature Lang red made from 55-year-old vines plus; said to be the oldest vines on the Naramata Bench. The nose is and the attack is sweet preview some super ripe fruit. Ripe plums and figs dominate with an undercurrent of blueberries and light pepper. This is a tomato free, full-bodied red with a long sweet ripe finish that should appeal to foch fans. Best with powerful meats like lamb or venison. Ready to drink.Tasted: 17 August 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
