Monte Creek Ranch Ranch Hand Red Reserve 2015

British Columbia, CanadaRanch Hand Red comes off the Monte Creek Ranch in the south Thompson Valley. The mix of grapes has changed since last year and is a little more mainstream in 2015 with 47 percent merlot, 35 percent frontenac noir and 18 percent cabernet sauvignon. It’s fresh with super bright acidity, maybe too much, followed by a brown spices, dried herbs and more floral red cherry fruit. Serve with slow cooked braised beef or venison now or leave it in the bottle for another year.Tasted: 15 August 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
