Santi Sortesele Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2016

Verona, Veneto, ItalyThe grapes come mainly from vineyards in Trentino, grown on well drained alluvial soils with additional fruit from highly acclaimed zones in Friuli. The fruit is pressed, fermented and stored on its lees under a cold environment in stainless-steel tanks. Classic straw colour with green edges preview a fresh, dry elegant, floral entry of pears and dried orchard fruits. Fresh, clean and ready to drink, you can serve this with fish or summer chicken salads. In the Trentino dialect “sortesele” are 4,000-square-metre parcels of vineyards, which by tradition the heirs of an agricultural property would draw lots for. The best land went to the luckiest, thus preventing disputes between family members.Tasted: 18 August 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
