Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAn equal blend of pinot noir and chardonnay, this new release from Bench 1775 is a traditional method fizz that spent two years on the lees and is a blend of two vintages. A copper pink hue, the pinot noir has spent time on the skins, affording a riffy grip to the finish. Dry and snappy, this is cranberry, cherry, strawberry, with a floral raspberry blossom kiss, on an earthy, herbal base.
