Prince Edward County, Ontario, CanadaPerfumed raspberry and cherry fill this softer, silken pinot noir, from Prince Edward County's limestone studded soils. A barrel selection, this was aged in French oak (60 percent new) for seventeen months on lees without racking, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Forest moss, dried herbs, smoked stones, aged paper, and fine, gritty structure lines the sides.
