Mendoza, ArgentinaCool weather in 2016 has taught everyone a valuable lesson in Argentina: don’t be afraid of freshness. This wine was picked early to avoid the rain and given a longer maceration, and the result is a big win. Purity of fruit reigns along with savoury, juicy, red fruit and a touch of tobacco. Fragrant, tasty, affordable, solid new-style malbec almost all made in concrete. Fine with chicken or pasta with a meat sauce, and of course perfect with empanadas.
