Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Vaulorent 1er Cru 2015

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceVaulorent sits next to the Grand Cru Les Preuses and is said by the Brocard folks to share its qualities of refinement and energy. I found it to be foursquare and rich, reflecting the 2015 vintage with bright citrus/lime tones and a creamy/silky mid-palate coming from the use of some concrete eggs during fermentation. You can drink this now with chicken or richer seafood dishes with a cream sauce, or cellar through 2019.Tasted: 22 December 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
