Rodney Strong Rosé of Pinot Noir 2017
Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis rosé surprised with its delicacy and aplomb. It was harvested from August 12 to 30 from the River East Vineyard, Jane’s Vineyard, and Preston Vineyard, all within the heart of the Russian River Valley. I love the light pink salmon colour and the inviting strawberry, honeydew melon aromas and flavours. The palate is perfectly light and refreshing with a juicy peach finish. Goat cheese, wasabi ginger poke, shellfish and summer salads all work here.
