Tuscany, Italy90% Sangiovese mixed with 5% Merlot and 5% other grapes in this CC. After 2 weeks on skins, this moved to botti to complete MLF, which was transferred to a mix of French casks (60%), smaller oak (20%), and cement tanks. Black cherries and black raspberries fill a juicy palate with fresh acidity to brighten and a healthy dusting of white pepper and nutmeg to season.
