Italia Pinot Grigio Can NV

Lombardy, ItalyAdria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. The aim (listen up BC) "is to produce authentic, well-priced still and sparkling wines from local grape varieties. All aspects of production, from grape selection to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling, are meticulously overseen by Araldica's winemaking team of Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese, assisted by Boutinot's Tony Brown MW." The pinot grigio is harvested in the first half of September, crushed, gently pressed to stainless steel tanks, and with 15 percent chardonnay, finished in cans. Expect a refreshing white with classic apple, citrus aromas (pinot grigio), lemon and honey (chardonnay) mid-palate flavours, and a crisp finish. Simple, clean, and ready to drink in a one-glass format, you can easily carry this vegan-friendly white up the mountain or to the beach.Tasted: 11 October 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
